Strong Family addresses the Orphan Cycle—a pattern where poverty, abuse, and resource scarcity cause family breakdown, forcing vulnerable children into trafficking and orphanages. Rather than treating symptoms, we focus on family-level healing with scalable solutions that match the scope of this global crisis.
While "flourishing" is often discussed in academic terms, we took a different approach by asking the families we work with what it means to them. They defined flourishing simply as "helping someone even when I don't feel at my best." This insight completely transformed our approach to strengthening families. We developed a framework centered on "Bursts of Flourishing"—moments when families learn to care not only for each other but for others in their community.
The results have been more powerful than we ever imagined.
